This is a friendly reminder that the Founders Park Pool will officially close on February 1, 2026, for resurfacing and major facility improvements.

Important Locker Notice:Members who currently utilize the locker rooms must remove all personal items from lockers no later than Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Any items remaining after this date may be removed and disposed of as part of the renovation process.

The improvement project will also include:

• Upgrades to the pool’s mechanical systems and scoreboard

• Improved access to the high-dive platform

• Full renovations to the locker rooms (floors, tile, fixtures, and more)

• Construction of a new enclosed Lifeguard First Aid Office and Break Room to enhance staff security and protect emergency equipment

The project is estimated to take approximately four months to complete.

During the closure, the public is encouraged to use the Jacob’s Aquatic Center Community Pool, located at 320 Laguna Ave, Key Largo, FL 33037. Some aquatics programs may also transition to this facility during the closure—please stay tuned for additional announcements.

Membership Information:Existing annual memberships will be frozen and may resume once the Founders Park Pool reopens.
