Village Council Invites Community Input
Regarding the Hiring of a New Village Manager
The Village Council held a workshop on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 to address the hiring of a new Village Manager. The workshop was led by Colin Baenziger, the Executive Search professional hired by the Village to recruit candidates and conduct the process to fill the Village Manager position.
During the workshop, Council addressed the characteristics and experience they prefer a new Village Manager possess, held a preliminary discussion regarding a benefits package, discussed the possible reasons for the short tenure of previous Islamorada Village Managers and reviewed the timeline for the search and selection process.
