2022 Summer Recreation Camp!

Camp Dates:
June 6th through July 29th
Monday through Friday
8:00am - 5:30pm

Ages 6-12 years

Activities may include:
Games and Parties, Arts and Crafts, Sports, Contests and Movies, Special Guests and Entertainment, Swimming at Beach and Pool, and more!

What to bring:

Water Bottle
Swim Suit
Sun Shirt and Hats

Registration Fees:
$125 per week - $100 sibling discount
$75 half day (for dual camp participants only)
$40 daily option

Islamorada Residents have priority access now through May 14th!
Open enrollment for all beginning May 15th

No same-day registration.
Payment secures spot in camp!

All campers must be signed up by the Friday BEFORE camp session begins.

A Sneak Peak at the theme for each week of Summer Recreation Camp!:


June 6-10:
Summer Celebration Week:
Celebrate the Start of Summer with activities including Tie-Dye Camp Shirts, Fun with Friendship Bracelets, and a Summer Kick-Off Carnival!

June 13-17:
Through the Ages Week:
Take a Journey Through the Ages with Root Beer Floats straight from the 1950's, a 1960's Hippie Dress-Up Day, a 1970's Disco Party, 1980's Karaoke, and more!

June 20-24:
Safari Week:
Become one with nature during our Nature Scavenger Hunt, Crafts such as Rock Painting and Paw Print Making, Founders First Ever Faux Rodeo, and a visit with the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center!

June 27 - July 1:
Splash Bash Week:
Have gallons of fun and water activities including Slip N Slides, Giant Water War, and Luau on the Beach! Plus a mermaid show and a visit with Florida Fish and Wildlife Officers!

July 5-8:
(No camp on Monday, July 4th)
Super Hero Week:
Celebrating the USA all week! Activities include USA Arts and Crafts, Super Hero Dress-Up, Career Day, and a visit with the Islamorada Firefighters and Police Department!

July 11-15
Around the World Week:
Take a trip around the world and learn about new places and activities including an Across the Continent Obstacle Course, crafts such as Origami and Weaving, and a World Fair!

July 18-22:
Work-It-Out Week:
Camp will be held at Coral Shores High School Gymnasium! Drop off and Pick up will be at CSHS. Campers will enjoy the cold air and indoor fun and games while learning a new sport every day!

July 25-29:
Camp Got Talent Week:
Our final week will conclude with a Talent Show and Camp Awards. Campers will get to show off their talent or help behind the scenes of our very own park production! Other activities will include a Drum Circle and Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party!
