Nature Walks

The goal of this series is to increase knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park by sharing with the community through Nature Walks; also promoting responsible stewardship of our natural resources. These walks involve a brief discussion on the history of the Upper Keys, as well as plant, butterfly, and bird traits. Sturdy shoes, sunscreen, water, and binoculars and/or camera are recommended. Facial Covering Required.

$7.00 per class 10 person maximum.

Nature Walks are held twice a month on Tuesdays from 8:30am-10:00a.m.

January 26, 2021: Green Turtle Hammock Preserve—MM  81.2
February 9, 2021: Founders Park & Plantation  Hammock Preserve—MM  87
February 23, 2021: Plantation Tropical Preserve—MM 90
