Community Development Block Grant Task Force

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Citizens Advisory Task Force (CATF) is responsible for increasing public awareness of the function of the CDBG Program and the types of assistance available to low and moderate income residents, and for making recommendations to the Village Council on all phases of the local CDBG Program.

The CATF is comprised of five (5) members, including one (1) Village employee and four (4) members of the Islamorada Workforce/Affordable Housing Citizens Advisory Committee or volunteers recommended by a majority vote of the Committee. All CATF members must be Village residents, and fifty-one percent of CATF members must meet the low and moderate income definition (households at or below 80 percent area median income).
