ISLAMORADA PARKING MASTER PLAN
COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE
MARCH 14TH, 10AM - 7PM
Islamorada has been conducting a Parking Master Plan that analyzes parking supply, demand, operations and management practices during both peak and non-peak times. The purpose of the Parking Master Plan is to make physical and policy recommendations based on an overall analysis of specific conditions in Islamorada, public feedback, and industry-best practices for the efficient use of the Village’s parking resources.
The Study Team will be hosting the last Public “Open House” to showcase current strategies and design alternatives based on input from previous meetings. The purpose of the meeting is to gather additional public input from all interested member of the community and based on that input, finalize the recommendations for the master plan. The open house will be held at the Founders Park Community Center, 87000 Overseas Highway, on March 14th, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The open house is ongoing throughout the day and will feature poster exhibits and graphics of the various strategies and design alternatives. The input received during the open house and an overall update on the project will be presented to the Village Council at its meeting on March 15th, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.
After the Open House, the Study Team will post the same graphic materials to the project website (islamoradaparking.com) for those that cannot attend the Open House, as well as feature opportunities to give additional input on the information provided.
