DUE TO HURRICANE IRMA'S IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY
 
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WITH REGARD TO BUILDING PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS:

 
A PERMIT WILL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING WORK: 
  1. Tarping roofs, boarding openings
  2. Repairs of 25% or less to roofs, siding, drywall, and fences
  3. Flooring,
EMERGENCY PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED FOR (Permit fees are waived for Emergency Permits through December 1, 2017)
  1. Re-roof
  2. Window/door replacement
  3. Dock (only for work that does not require ACOE and DEP)
  4. Electric service upgrades and repair
  5. A/C changeouts
  6. Plumbing
  7. Fences (repairs of 25% or greater)
  8. Demo
STRUCTURAL PERMITS:
All structural repairs and work will require engineered plans/drawings and plan review.
 
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) Permit Procedures:

Department of Environmental Protection Emergency Final Order:

INSPECTIONS
:
Roof inspection will require only Final Inspection and a signed Roofing Affidavit
