NOVEMBER 6th GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION UPDATE

NOVEMBER 6, 2018 GENERAL ELECTION
In addition to the federal, state, county and local elections, the General Election ballot contained thirteen Constitutional Amendments and Constitutional Revision for voters to decide.

The Islamorada ballot contained the two Village Council seats up for election as well as the proposed Charter Amendment to change Islamorada Councilmembers’ terms in office from two years to four years. Below are the UNOFFICIAL ELECTION SUMMARY RESULTS FOR ISLAMORADA.

The proposed amendment to change Islamorada Councilmembers' terms in office from two to four years failed. Councilmember terms will remain two years.

The state-wide recount does not affect the local Islamorada results. The Monroe County Supervisor of Elections plans to certify Islamorada's election results late on Friday.
