The Islamorada Foundation had a very successful cleanup of Lower Matecumbe Key on Friday, February 9th. So many volunteers helped remove hundreds of pound of trash from the roadside and tons of landscape debris.

The Friends of the Islamorada State Parks partnered with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office for another successful cleanup in Indian Key Fill on Saturday, February 10th.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED WITH THE CLEANUPS.

Islamorada greatly appreciates the efforts of volunteer groups and individuals that make these cleanup events successful. Thank you to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office for being a consistent supporter of the cleanups in Islamorada and throughout Monroe County.

The Islamorada Public Works Department is happy to support community cleanup events. Contact the Public Works Department at public.works@islamorada.fl.us  or call 305-852-6933 to arrange a community cleanup.
