NOTICE OCTOBER 10, 2017: The Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina boat ramp, will be open for general public use on the weekend only. Boat ramp hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Weekday use is allowed for Charter Boats only.
Notice October 4, 2017: To assist local Islamorada fishing guides and captains who are no longer able to keep their boats at marina slips and run charters to due damage to those facilities, the boat ramp will be open to local Islamorada fishing guide captains from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. seven (7) days per week. No ramp use fees will be charged.
Captains will be able to place boats in the water and park vehicles with trailers in the designated trailer parking area. Additionally, charter customers/clients may meet captains at the boat ramp to take off on their trips and leave their vehicles in the same parking area. No overnight parking is allowed.
Captains must be local Islamorada residents and are required to provide the following documents to staff in the Marina Office:
- United State Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential
- Monroe County Occupational License
- State of Florida FWC fishing license
- Insurance policy declaration indicating property and liability coverages with “Islamorada, Village of Islands” listed as an additional insured on the liability policy.
The Village will not supply keys to the ramp gate to enable ingress and egress through the ramp outside of the Marina’s regular office hours. For more information, please send and email to email@example.com or call the Marina office at 305-852-2381.
Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina provides a safe, secure, and inviting marina for Village residents and the general local boating population, being named by Yachting Magazine as one of the “Top 50 Marina Destinations in the World” and maintaining a Department of Environmental Protection “Clean Marina” designation. The Marina has, depending on boat lengths, 70 - 83 slips available on daily, weekly, monthly, or annual agreements. All slips provide guests with metered electric and water, sewage pump out, Wi-Fi, and sales of unleaded and diesel fuel. The facility includes a boat ramp and dedicated parking area, as well as temporary courtesy daytime dockage for eight to ten Islamorada resident boats during special events. There is a tiki-style social pavilion with grills and an ample trailer parking area. Marina guests also have access to the facilities and activities at the adjacent Islamorada Founders Park. The Marina office and boat ramp are open every day from 8am to 6pm.

The Marina is located just off the Intracoastal Waterway about mid-way between Makers 78 & 78 “A” in the Florida Bay. The Marina monitors VHF channel 16, or call (305) 852-2381 for assistance. The staff will gladly assist with your docking and lines.
