  • Founders Park

    Founders Park reopened on December 3rd. The pool, golf driving range and soccer field remain closed until repairs can be completed. All other facilities, including the beach, fitness areas and dog park are open from sunrise to sunset.

  • Plantation yacht Harbor Marina

    Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina is now fully open after Hurricane Irma. Enjoy world class amenities and service.  Located in Founders Park at Mile Marker 87 bayside. The 83-slip Village-owned marina is right off the Intercoastal Waterway. Fuel and pump-out services available. 

  • Parks & Beaches

    Many of Islamorada's smaller parks are restored and open to the public. Other parks and beaches remain closed due to damage from Hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017. Visit the page for information about each park.

    Islamorada has enacted policies to reduce global warming pollution levels and provide economic and quality of life benefits. 


    There are approximately 24 miles of canals within Islamorada. The Village is moving forward with a series of canal restoration demonstration projects to improve impaired water quality in the canals. 


    The Village is committed to proactively identifying ways to increase its resiliency through adaptation to a changing environment. The Islamorada Matters Plan furthers the Village’s commitment to sustainability and sea level rise preparedness.
