NOTICE: Due to Hurricane Irma debris staging at Founders Park, limited access to the park and some of its facilities is allowed 6:30pm to 9:30 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
As a result of Hurricane Irma and the recovery activities staged at Founders Park, the Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina, boat ramp and fuel dock are open on a limited basis until further notice.
Many of Islamorada's smaller parks are restored and open to the public. Other parks and beaches remain closed due to damage and debris from Hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017.

Islamorada has enacted policies to reduce global warming pollution levels and provide economic and quality of life benefits.
There are approximately 24 miles of canals within Islamorada. The Village is moving forward with a series of canal restoration demonstration projects to improve impaired water quality in the canals.
The Village is committed to proactively identifying ways to increase its resiliency through adaptation to a changing environment. The Islamorada Matters Plan furthers the Village’s commitment to sustainability and sea level rise preparedness.
